As Thomas Jefferson has said: “I believe that every human mind feels pleasure in doing good to another”. When we do good, we feel good. When we feel good, we are happy. When we are happy, we are encouraged to do good again, thus increasing happiness. When people are treated good, they feel good and happy, and chances are that they will treat others good, thus extending happiness. Goodness delivers happiness. Goodness increases and extends happiness in and around us.
