Everybody on the Earth can make mistakes. The important thing is to keep certain honesty, humility and courage to admit having made a mistake and take the responsibility to correct it. Agreeing with Stephen R. Covey, the faster you rectify a mistake, the less is the extent of its impact and quicker you feel better. The contrary generates the opposite effect. As Stephen M.R. Covey has said: “While we tend to judge ourselves by our intent, we tend to judge others by their behavior”. Leaders tend to understand mistakes as problems to solve, encourage and acknowledge rectifying efforts and celebrate successful solutions.
